My Story

At an early age, I developed an entrepreneurial spirit, selling door-to-door, trading with friends, and doing odd jobs in my neighborhood. I started my first small business as a teen. Later, I joined the professional workforce and began exploring ways to make my work more efficient, accomplishing more in less time.

One of my first jobs was as a Surveyor’s Rod-Man. As soon as they discovered my aptitude with computers and my experience with Microsoft Excel, I was assigned a desk job in the field office. My task was to sort the weld data for a 12-mile pipeline - a painstaking process that involved studying handwritten field notes and rearranging each spreadsheet row, one-by-one, into the correct order. There were thousands of rows, and it took weeks to complete. I couldn't help but think there must be a better way.

In my spare time, I began developing an idea. Eventually, I devised an algorithm, jotted down on a notepad, that could sort the data automatically. When I presented this to my boss, he instantly recognized its potential. He decided to incorporate it into an application he was developing for generating field reports. So, I undertook a crash course in programming and began coding. The result? A process that had taken six weeks could now be completed with a click of a button in a minute. This same algorithm is still in use today by a leading energy company.

Driven by my passion, I immersed myself in books, courses, and coaching sessions, learning all I could about organization, time management, and productivity. As my knowledge grew, an idea started to take shape. I began applying basic automation principles to all aspects of my life, and the benefits were immediate. I became more productive at work, found more time for the things that truly mattered, and stopped worrying about bills. I discovered that the power of automation could be a key to success, both professionally and personally.
